Doctor’s Diary using JSP Technology

2.2.  Search:

One more wonderful feature of the software is to search the patient details from the database. The software makes retrieving the patient detail easier. The details can be retrieved from the database by searching by the name, place or gender (Figure 6).

Search by Name:

Doctor should enter the name of the patient’s name in the Name field of the search page. The system will get back all the details corresponding to the entered name. We can also specify the gender of the patient to make the search faster.

Search by Place:

Entering the place of the patient and letting the system to search will retrieve all the patients’ details of the entered place.

Search by Gender:

Even though when we are not entering name and place, just specifying the gender will give back all the patient details from the database. He can get the id number of the particular patient from this table.

2.3. Patient Report:

Doctor can see the full report of all the patients date vise or month vise (Figure 6). He can specify the date in the date field to retrieve the patient report. Also by specifying the month and year will retrieve the full report of that month (Figure 7). If he didn’t specify any date, the system will show today’s report as default.
